Lisa Mosconi
Lisa Mosconi, PhD is a neuroscientist and researcher specializing in brain health, Alzheimer’s prevention, and the relationship between hormonal health and cognitive function. As the founder and director of the Women’s Brain Initiative and the Alzheimer’s Prevention Program at Weill Cornell Medicine, Lisa has dedicated her career to understanding how risk of memory loss and dementia can be mitigated through the combination of appropriate medical care and lifestyle modifications. She holds a Ph.D. in neuroscience and nuclear medicine and is internationally recognized for her pioneering use of neuroimaging techniques to study the brain’s metabolic, biochemical, and structural health.
Dr. Mosconi is also a best-selling author of three books: The Menopause Brain, Brain Food, and The XX Brain, where she explores actionable strategies to optimize brain health, with a focus on women, whose risks for Alzheimer’s are disproportionately high.
